There is some confusion about the naming for this book because there is the exact same book from May 1, 2011 called Get Some Headspace: 10 Minutes Can Make All The Difference, so you can take your pick.
This book does go nicely with the Headspace app, but it is also useful on it's own. The approach taken on this book by the author is intuitive, mostly because it's discussed on the big reason, why one should practice meditation and how to implement it in your daily life through specific methods and mindsets.
The book is fit for our urban lifestyle, and the practice in it helps us better understand how our body reacts to stress and stressful situations. The book covers the history of meditation, the benefits and how to get you started, roadblocks you might hit during that time and how to deal with them, all done in a friendly, supportive manner.
Requiring you to devote 10 minutes of your time daily in exchange for living a better, more enjoyable life is a goal worth striving for.
